ABOUT ME:
As an avid cyclist and personal trainer I appreciate a fitness lifestyle. I see the results and hear the success stories from those that have enriched their quality of life through regular exercise.
I began cycling when a friend asked me
to join him in participating in the '97 Los Angeles Marathon Bike
Tour.
The thought of riding my bike 26 miles was pretty
unimaginable.
Taking the occasional ride to and from the mechanic, (almost 2
grueling miles round trip) was pretty much all the riding I'd done
since I was a kid.
Well the training for the bike tour began in earnest and culminated
with a successful tour, completed in an hour and change on my
trusty hybrid. The after feast was glorious and became an
annual fun ride event with friends.
I have since become a Personal Trainer, Pilates instructor and a
Spinning
instructor.
I've discovered racing bikes, heart monitors, pace lines,
lycra and a cycling/fitness community where I am meeting great
people and having fun staying fit and helping others to get fit.
What People Are Saying:
My wife and I have worked with Rod in spinning as well as Pilates.
Rod gives genuine care and inspiration to those he works with as well as clarity in his individualized instruction. His classes are
challenging, well rounded and balanced. Rod has a definite understanding of the
mind, body spirit connection. Rods classes are always progressively moving towards short term and long term goals, at the group and individual levels. My wife and are currently working towards a five minute plank, and going strong, after starting several months ago beginning with a minute and a half plank. Our core strength has improved dramatically! Since my wife and I have made the
commitment to Pilates three times weekly we feel different, we look different and we are very happy in our active lifestyles. One other thing I must address is his emphasis on original
music. Treat the sprit and the mind and body will follow. Thank you Rod.
